The Story Behind Maventa Core

Nestled in the heart of New York, Maventa Core began as a small letterpress studio with one simple belief: that thoughtfully made paper goods can turn everyday moments into lasting memories. What started as a corner desk and a stack of cotton-fiber cardstock has grown into a beloved stationery house serving individuals, families, and businesses across the city and beyond.

Every notebook, card, and custom print that leaves our studio carries the same intention we had on day one — craftsmanship, warmth, and a genuine respect for the written word.

From Passion Project to Neighborhood Staple

Our founder, a former graphic designer, grew frustrated with mass-produced greeting cards that felt impersonal. Drawing inspiration from the long tradition of letterpress printing, she began hand-pulling prints on a refurbished antique press in a rented studio space in Brooklyn.

Word spread quickly among local boutiques and design-minded New Yorkers. Within two years, Maventa Core outgrew its original studio and moved into a dedicated storefront, where we now design, print, and pack every order by hand.

Today, our collection spans notebooks, correspondence cards, custom printing, and curated gift sets — each rooted in the same commitment to quality paper and considered design that defined our earliest work.
